I'm the same way with my Phoebe, my hubby sometimes get embarrass
I can tell by the look of his eyes, because I always pick her up if I see a larger dog coming towards us, I don't care if the owner is there or not, but I do get bad looks from the owners though, I just don't take any chances with her, she is so friendly and she loves big dogs
