 "friendly" airdale
I was at a friend's house with their big "friendly" airdale. I had decided against the visit and was turning around with my yorkie on leash. The airdale lopped over and I pulled my little yorkie into my arms by bringing him up by the leash and his harness. The airdale thought he was then a toy and in went my yorkie's head into the airdale's mouth. I too, didn't have a clue what to do but scream and people came and pulled his wet, unharmed head out of the mouth. Lucky for me this one was used to playing softly with ducklings and only soft-mouthed him. But I still have NO idea what to do when "approached" by a big, or roudy dog. (even a jack russell I met looked like he would eat him in a heartbeat. |
