Idenise: I took 2 dogs to 3 obedience classes. They do teach the owners a little but not enough and they can't teach anyone who doesn't want to learn.
I was going to say it sounded like this woman does not love this dog. Sounds like she might have thot he was cute and got him for that reason. She forgot that he will grow up and all the work that comes with training a baby like that.
I was wondering if she had children, ok, did she forget that children don't come with manuels? Or that they can't feed or clothe or change their own diapers? For Gods sake, did she forget SHE'S the mother, the woman? Did she forget that moms usually end up taking care of the pets? What was she thinking?
These little creatures are like a mix of humans and dogs. They have qualities of both, I think that is what makes us love them so. I think her life is too busy to handle this type of dog. Or she didn't really want the responsibility in the first place and is taking it out on the poor little dog. I hope she takes a very long, hard look at herself and her life style and decides this is not the breed for her or at least not at this time.
I can't hardly stand it when my dogs cringe when I reach for them and I don't hit them. It's a submissive thing and I hate it. It's so frustrating to have them behave that way AND embaressing if it's out in public. I just know people don't believe me when I say I don't hit them. They get so low to the ground that an ant couldn't walk under them. It makes me so mad, I want to yell at them "Get up! Stand straight! Why do you act like that?!"
Maybe that's part of it, maybe she's frustrated and thinks if he's going to cringe, I'll give him a reason to cringe.
Dang, I don't think I said a word that would help. (Chuckling) |
