I had an Irish Setter. What an angel. He and the 2 cats were my daughter's nannies. They followed her everywhere in the house when she started to crawl.
He would point and she would pull herself up to standing on his fur. He would look at me like "Am I doing good Mom?" I gave Max his name as a middle name.
