Yikes! I had braces put on when I was in 5th grade and got them off (FINALLY) when I was in 9th grade! And they hurt the entire time...seems like the archwire would finally get to where it was comfortable and it would be time to get a new one
! It's amazing that it was so long ago, but when you mention it, I can TOTALLY remember EXACTLY how bad it hurt, LOL
. In fact, I told my ortho once to just pull all my teeth out; I'd rather have false teeth, rofl. Geeze, what a drama queen I was
and my mom always said "some day, you'll thank me for this", to which I always answered "I will NEVER thank you for torturing me"
Funny thing.....I do thank her all the time for it now, haha
It will all be worth it; just think how great you'll look. At least it's not 4 or 5 years of it
