My Marcel is 21 weeks and weighs 1.8 pounds - he weighed 1.4 when we got him, so he's gaining about an oz. a week. He will be tiny.
BUT, when I got him, I took him off Eukanuba immediately, leave Canidae out for grazing. Then, when I started home cooking for him - that's when his body started putting on some weight. He gets a morning meal, a 4pm meal, a 7pm meal and then something around 9pm to get him through the night.
I think it's really important that these tinies are eating every 3-4 hours - so perhaps 4 meals in a 16 hour day. So, I figure with his 4 real-food meals and occ. grazing - he is set up for his greatest growth potential.
