I went to my breeder's house 99 % sure I wanted a certain puppy and ended up picking the other one. Of course the puppy I picked was cuter
- from pictures alone I liked the other one - but also their personalities were day and night. I realized Gus was the puppy for me and would have never known it if I hadn't gone there to see for myself.
There are many reasons why I think it is better to find a local breeder - meeting the owner, seeing the parents, seeing the living conditions but the best is being able to pick your puppy. I was able to take pictures and video. I'll never forget that day...it was wonderful.
