Yes I have looked in the search engines on the internet. I was hoping I could get expertise of a breeder or pet owner that maybe has had experience in this.
LCP is Legg Calves Perthes- it is a degeneration of the fermur head in one or both back hips.
My 10 month old Yorkie (3.8lbs) was recently diagnosed with the begining stages of LCP. My breeder feels it is from an accident (NOT) and will not replace or refund until a bone biopsy is done to prove it is genetic/hereditary. Nor is the breeder willing to assist with the surgery/s. I don't feel it is nessacary to have this done and put the pup through so many surgeries-(the biopsy-the surgery to remove the femur head-spay) to prove its inheredited.
Looking forward to any help I can get at this point.
