Its getting ugly though. For example if someone comes to the door and the pups bark it gets them worked up and usually ends up in a fight on the way to the door. My stomach is in a constant knot. They dont act aggresive at all to the pups which are 7 months old but just to each other. When they go at each other its hard to seperate them and blood is usually involved which scraes me. I am thinking I shouls sell my girl pups just in case the adults decide to become aggressive with them when they get older. I am having such a time with this, I feel like a big cry baby. I cry just thinking about placing them but know that something had to change. I love the pups so much but think I owe it to them to have a secure homw where they wont have to go through this possibly later. Any suggestions anyone??? I am in such a loss of what to even think anymore
The part you wrote about when someone comes to the door really hits home with me. This started happening just recently in my home with my male and female. I think it is that Bella is a little ^%&$ and wants to get to the door first so she will get a little ugly with poor little Louie. It has never gotten to a "real" fight yet, but Bella makes this horrible mean growl sound and kinda nips at his face.....as if to say, " Im getting there first buddy"! Im going to try working on this with some possitive reinforcement somehow, I'll let you know how it goes....in the meantime, I wish you the best and hope that all works out for you.
