I live in Illinois, so it really depends on the weather...an excuse, maybe. But really Winston walks pretty well on leash(when there's a sidewalk). And weather permitting, and my schedule we walk often, maybe not every day but most days. Sometimes the snow is so deep, I can't even get him out the door...and that's serious business, cuz he does all his business outside!!! And it has to be in the grass...so I spend many mornings shoveling paths all over the backyard, literally.
