Why does everyone rush to use the word dominant?
No, you left him alone all day. He didn't get "plenty of entertainment" if he was alone. Loki's favorite thing in the whole world is a puzzle toy and even that only keeps him occupied for 30 minutes tops. I have no idea why he pooped in your shoe - that's just wierd - but dogs don't hold grudges. Maybe that's a good way for him to get attention, but not to dominate you. Loki leaves toys in my husbands shoes all the time, maybe that's a good place to store them! I bet you fed him when you got home and then he had to go... and you were in the shower. If he is crate trained then he needs to be in his crate when you can't watch him. |
