I agree he is definitely ticked off at you. My little one is home all day alone while I work and she has separation anxiety but she has never done that out of spite. I do however leave newspapers on a boot tray for her to use should she have an emergency while I am gone. Her use for the papers are to shred them into very tiny pieces and spread them all over the kitchen floor. But she still makes me laugh when I get home and she is hiding around the corner of the kitchen and peeks out and looks over at me then runs over and starts twirling in circles. She is just so funny that I can't be mad at the mess.
