I definitely feel your pain. Tucker pretty reliably uses the pee pad to urinate when he's in his X-pen but he just let's the poop land where it will. Then, once we're downstairs and there is carpeting it's a free-for-all, he's peeing and pooping everywhere willy nilly even after being shown where the pee pads are and being corrected mid-stream. Ugh!
