I live in Florida and right now inside my car is probably around 110 degrees. Even if it's 85 degrees outside the inside of a car can get to 140 degrees fast.
I have seen dogs in cars with a barely cracked window.Honestly the police won't make a big deal out of it unless it's a child left in the car. I do know there cops that love animals and they would give someone a ticket or something over this. I take my dog/s with me sometimes but only if I know I can take them inside the store with me. I have gone with my dog/s with my husband and my husband will go inside and I stay in the car with the A/C on with my dog. I am paranoid. I think my furbaby is the most wanted pet in the world and would get stolen in a second.Of course most of us think this way
For the most part I do not get involved when I see a dog inside a car unless and only unless I've been outside for a long time and I see the dog looks sick.
Most people I think would be ticked off if you called them outside,mainly because they feel embaressed that they are not being responsible and most people respond with being rude and not thankful that someone cared.
