Please understand that there is no such thing as a "Teacup" Yorkie or
"Toy" Yorkie. They are all a toy breed regardless of size. A Yorkie is a Yorkie. I am sorry you seem so dissapointed!
According to the AKC a standard Yorkie is 7lbs and under!
Your's is certainly within range at this time. Sounds like you may
have purchased your pet from a pet store! If so they have no idea
what the puppies weight would be. Your's is still so little why worry
about it. Enjoy your little one.
You would need to know the size of the parents, grandparents and line
in order to know what your puppies weight would be and then there
are always exceptions to the rule.
