 any other states where leaving the dogs in cars is illegal?
Just wondering if there are any other states besides Arizona where it is illegal to leave your dogs in the car (windows cracked in cool weather).
We occasionally leave the yorkies in the car when it is below 65 and I can see them to eat in a fast food place.
(you better believe I don't take my eyes off them)
I've had police break into cars when people have left dogs in them in the heat. working as a vet tec I've also see many dogs die of heat stroke. I've also left the car running with the air-conditioner on and the door locked (yorkies in crates) emergency brake on, so I can run in to a fast food place and pee!
I've also seen dogs dragged from the back of trucks after they've fallen out of the back...A women here in NC tied her dog to the back of the truck and drove off! She got NO punishment at all, she said she forgot(#^%$!)
