Make sure you find a hotel that doesn't have a policy of no pets left alone. Many have a policy that if they do allow them to be left alone that they must be crated!

I've been researching cabins in the north Georgia mountains and it took some doing to find a cabin where Carter doesn't have to be crated when we're not there.
