Default Save A Yorkie Rescue

Hello I am actually a foster mom and volunteer for a Save A yorkie rescue. I can completely understand everyones frustration with adoption. Before I became a member of the Save a Yorkie rescue I was having the hardest time adopting a yorkie myself. I am 23 years old own a housewith my boyfriend 26 with a fenced in backyard a yorkie owner and rescued a s**tzu. You would think that I would be approved but I wasn't with other rescues I was told I was to young and immature and didn't know what I was getting into. Mind you these people didn't even talk to me or meet me and they had this cut me out because of my age. I am very much dedicated to my dogs and willing to help in anyway that I can. I found save a yorkie and they were the only ones who took the time to get to know me and now I am a foster mom and volunteer. Also, to answer the one questions that so people wonder about yorkies rescues and why they don't adopt to families with small children is that most of the yorkies that we get in foster came from families with small children we are certainly not saying that your kids are monsters it's just small children tend to play ruff with these little pups. And unfortunately children who are good with dogs are lumped into the category.
