My 3 month old Bo sleeps in his kennel at night and naps there during the day. He has his "lambie" and a blanket in there and I lay a small blanket over the top to cover the holes on the sides. This seems to make it more cozy, warm, and secure for him. He can still see out the front. He doesn't whine in his kennel unless he needs something (a drink of water or to go out, etc.). He spends short periods in there 3 or 4 times a day since I don't have a puppy confinement pen or convenient place to put him unattended. We have play time several times a day but I never leave him unattended. When I'm gone during the day for errands I put him in my bathroom with his kennel, blanket, toys and water. He has always done really well with the kennel and hasn't soiled there since the first couple of weeks. I wish potty training was going as smoothly...
