Agreed, the more appropriate description is a "clause" to return the pup if you can't care for it anymore. "Home again" policy sounds good, too.
Lifetime warranty seems to imply they would "replace" the pup in some way (with a new pup or refund money, but I've never heard of this happening) or reimburse you for vet bills - like a manufacturer's defect or something lol. Strange choice of words if that's the term they use.
