That is a very serious operation and the recovery period is a very long one, but look at it this way...........you get out of moping, vacuuming, washing dishes, cooking, ironing and all those domestic chores. You will be waited on like a queen. Don't be in any hurry to do anymore than the Doctor tells you. I've have two friends who have had these replacements and they are so happy and pain free and the new knees are better and stronger than the old ones. I will pray for a successful operation. Let us know how your doing.
