Hi Hommey and welcome to YT...Your gonna love it here, there are loads of posts with information on raising you new lil baby....
I'm fairly new here also and my baby is 11 weeks old.....the first week I had her I put her in her crate at night on my coffee table and I slept on the sofa so that she was right next to me....I think it gives them a sense of security just knowing we are close by and they can see us.....I was lucky enough to be able to take her with me to work for a few days to give her a chance to get used to all the sudden changes in her life.....now two weeks later, she is still in her crate at night and once the lights go out she goes to sleep and sleeps till about 6:00 in the morning. I have since moved from the sofa back to my own bed
During the day she is in a playpen in my kitchen with a potty box, food/water/bed and plenty of toys. I also leave the radio on for her.....she does whine when I first walk out the door, but within a few minutes quites down.....I have a neighbor who listens in on her throughout the day and will call me if she carries on too much...so far I haven't received any calls....when I get home in the evening I give her my undivided attention....the evenings are all hers now
Sounds like your baby is doing good with the potty pads and going outside....Do keep us posted on how things are going and we'd love to see pics of your new baby.
