They are adorable. Who is who in the pictures? How do you know they will NOT be more than 5lbs full grown? My Yorkie weighed in at 2.7 lbs at 12 weeks and now she is 7 lbs. She is 10 months old and has gone through her first heat. I am not doubting you or trying to be difficult, but the same was told to me, when I got my Yorkie. I am really asking for some knowledge. My Yorkie's parents were also 5lbs and under. She is not huge by any means and we love her to death, but she is not the weight/size that was advertised or what I paid for.
I am NOT trying to start a war over the wisdom or morality of owning a Yorkie that could fall under the "meaningless and unrecognized" terms of: "teacup or tiny", but there are honest, animal loving people, who want a dog that size--without any ulterior motives, other than to add another loved animal to the family. Myself included.
To those of you with those little 4 lb Yorkies with the adorable Teddy Bear faces, how did you find them? Is it just the luck of the draw or did you look for specfic things?
Again, I am not trying to start a war or conflict. I think all Yorkies are adorable and one of the smartest breeds of dog you can find. But I still would love add a little tiny Yorkie to our family. We are a huge animal loving family and love all our animals equally. I honestly, do not see how wanting a tiny Yorkie is any different from someone wanting a certain breed of dog.
Thanks!!
