well the best idea is to have a pee pad on the floor.. but sadly a puppy takes more than a few days to train... so you can expect some accidents... and some bad behavior if she is upset that you are leaving her alone all day... at night.. she will cry... as you know... so take her out... tell her to "hurry up" or whatever your phrase is.. give her 5-10 min to do whatever.. and then back to bed.. and put up with the crying..w hcih should stop
she will also need to be put out a few times during the night. you might try during the day to get an x-pen or play pen for her... it is MUCH better than sticking her in a bathroom where she can't see what is going on. in an x-pen she can see the whole house or whatever, but only have access to one small area... put a small little bed in there... food and water, some good chew toys.. and a pee pad and cross your fingers that she uses the pad
