I've always found it good to train them early to leave up a topknot. Little ones will mess with it at first until they get used to it. Just pull a bit of hair up into a tiny rubberband (we use groomer-sized rubberbands) or a tiny barrett at first....though they do make puppy bows that are smaller and not as heavy on their delicate puppy hair.

Just remember to monitor your pup with it and don't leave them alone with it in or they could easily pull it out and swallow it! Good luck - can't wait to see pictures!
