I don't know... mine hated the play pen so much we just ended up returning it. He'd get so worked up that he'd poop and puke in it and never usually did that. luckily we can leave him in the house now and he doesn't destroy anything (except the rug by the front door but if that's all, i am okay with it because it was cheap). He wasn't particularly fond of his crate either but would tolerate it and quiet down because he knew i was never going to let him out unless he was quiet. let me know what you find out! Good luck!
