Last story (sorry, I'm on a role!)
My husband was sitting at the computer table last night eating nuts. This is the only place that Lexi can't climb on him to try to snatch a bite. Instead, she decided to get his attention. She jumped - at least- 2.5 feet in the air - STRAIGHT UP! It was so funny. It was like she was trying to show him how good she could jump so that he would share. She didn't even get a running start, just jumped from the spot where she was "sitting pretty". Then when that didn't work, she decided that she must try to look cute (like she even HAS to do that!). She sat really straight and would start "talking" to him. Grumble, grumble. When he would look at her, she would lift one of her front paws and rest it in front of her chest. When that didn't earn a sample, she put her foot down and lifted the other front leg. It was so funny. She was trying her best - even though she is not allowed any people food at all until we find out if she has kidney problems.
Just wanted to share. It was adorable.
