I would think it would be easier to have them do one knee at a time. Woulden't doing both knees at the same time put more stress on her. Yes the recovery time might be quicker if you do them both at the same time but that means she has two knees that she can not use for awhile. IMO, I just think it would be easier on Ginger to have one done at the time but that is just my opinion.
If mine had to have the surgery and had both knees done at the same time, I think they would be really depressed because it would be harder for them to move around and mine don't like being still for that long after a surgery.

Sorry Ginger has luxating patella. Good luck with the surgery, I hope all goes well!!
