Chicken can give a dog diarrhea. I don't know why but it can and is why I can't give it to my girls. When you do give chicken, make sure you don't salt or season it with anything. Try buying ground turkey instead, and just fry it up in a dry skillet and add it to some plain non-fat yogurt, steel cut oats or mashed up in a fresh sweet potato. (Not the canned ones).
I don't give chicken. I give a mixture of free range ground beef, veal liver and ground lamb. I add this mix to ground broccoli and carrots. |
