Because Eukanuba and Science Diet have less fillers and more of what your puppy needs, there's less coming out the other end too. I hate to be so descriptive, but the waste is more compact and more likely to 'hold together.'
I think you'll see an immediate improvement if you purchase one of these brands. Purina O.N.E. is also a less expensive alternative, kind of a middle ground food between grocery store vs. superpremiums.
I prefer Science Diet; my yorkie has not had any GI problems yet and I have never seen a dog turn his nose up to this brand. They add liver flavoring, and dogs LOVE liver. Just a preference though ... there are so many options. Read ingredient lists too. Real meat and rice are good things to look for. |
