I would pass the new bed on to one of the girls (or just eat the cost) and you all get a bigger bed.

My husband was the same way w/ Mojo, but four years later, we are still in the same bed and yep, Mojo is still there w/ us. And we just have a queen (love the closeness).

The hours....that's another story. My grandparents have always had different beds...different rooms because of thier different work hours - plus, he was a big hunter too and did raccoon hunting (which is at night). The odd thing is, neither have worked in years (YEARS) and he is too old to hunt, but he still sleeps in one of the upstairs bedrooms and she is downstairs??!!

Anyway, I am sure you two will work something out! (hugs)
