Chihuahuas. We had them from the time I was little and they had such sweet personalities and loved to play. Since I was a kid many of those years, that suited me just fine!
We always had big dogs, too, as I was growing up. The smartest and nicest was half german shepherd and I think the other half was collie??? was a wonderful dog.
