We have a pool and Vixxen gets in it - mostly cause she wants to be anywhere I'm at though! If I am floating and tanning in the pool, she will run full speed and jump to land on the mat I'm on!! Dare devil isn't she?? Honestly though, she doesn't just walk right into the pool, she's more of a sun bather and of course her hair gets all wet so she cools off. Her hair is silky so it is fine afterward - no trouble at all. Not too sure how Truffles will be though - however they both just went swimming in the lake with no problems!
I think our life jackets are those Fido ones and the work fine and have handles on top that make it easy to grap them with. But I have seen pink ones so we may get those this year
