I just had Teddy neutered. He was 7 months. And.. he has been marking since he turned 3 months (right on his birthday he decided to mark.. and bark!) And after we neutered him, he STILL marks. Maybe it depends on the dog, though. But I've just learned to live with it. My parents don't mind.. seeing as all of our male dogs mark.But he rarely, if ever, marks on furniture.. just walls.. (like thats any better.) But good luck to you..
