The little guy is going to survive! My mom is coming up from Pennsylvania to help nurse him back to health while my fiance and I are at work. We also have a vacation scheduled (I am taking a cruise to Alaska with Jerremys' family) on Saturday morning. It is the worst timing for a vacation, but it is very important that I go since Jeremy's parents actually paid for my airfare and the cruise, and it's an important "family trip" I am going to miss Joey so much - I am sick that I can't stay home with him, but at least my Mom (who is the ultimate dog lover) will be with him.
Anyway - I will have a few days with him so he knows that Mommy is not abandoning him. I am just so happy he is coming home.
Thanks for all your prayers - he still needs them in order to become strong and healthy again, so keep em' coming. I sincerely appreciate all the love and affection and caring that you have all sent to Joey during these past few days - they have been some of the most emotional and trying days of my life.

SUCH WONDERFUL NEWS!! so happy to hear hes going home .... just watch him carefully. im sure as soon as he gets home and feels hes home he'll do much better
