Just started reading this thread and found it very interesting.

In light of what has been happening in the dog food industry, we are all becoming more aware of what we feed our beloved pets. It made me pull out a book that was given to me a couple of years back "Bone Appetit!" Gourmet Cooking For Your Dog by Suzan Anson, and began to read it. It is very detailed on required nutrition charts, feeding practices contains a multitude of recipes from making your own kibble, main courses, soups, vegetables, sauces, decadent doggie desserts and food for special needs. That said I guess I'm going to begin cooking.
