The Bends In Lifes Road

As we travel lifes long road of what comes our way,
The unknowing is what we dread each day.

Not knowing what lies around the roads bend,
God speaks to us letting us know, our souls he does so tend.

Knowing whatever we must go through, life’s trials to endure,
God will guide us through each one, we can be sure.

He is here for each of us, to wipe each tear that we shed,
Holding us in his loving care each step along life's road to tread.

Cassie, I know God held you and took you through Heavens Gate,
Forever there with Him, for us you shall wait.

Gods plan in this lifetime was you on loan for us to love and nurture,
There is a bright light that shines in our future.

Getting around each bend in the road, I'm finding the hill is easier to dread,
Let’s live each day, let God hold our hand, seek his will and push on ahead.

Thankful for the time we had together,
Knowing you are in peace, no more suffering ever.

Thank you God for loving us so, you gave us Cassie to love and adore,
Eighteen months ago we placed her in your arms, to us it seems so many more.

Forever grateful we shall be,
Your great Love for Cassie and me.

This is another poem by me in rememberance of Cassie, in our hearts she will always be. God knew our need and we are so thankful that he now has brought two little special yorkies into our lives to continue to share the love with one of his most special gifts. I know that Cassie is forever romping and playing with all the other precious ones. We are forever grateful for the time God let her be with us. We will love you forever Cassie.
