my baby came microchipped from the place i got him from ...
but the "breeder" never informed me about it until a few days after i got him i was feeling all over his body and came across it rite on the back of his neck. when i called the guy to tell me if he was micro chipped he returned my call a day later to tell me that he was, and that i would have to call him back to get the # i called the next day he told me to call on a friday ... i did and he gave me the # but im still a lil bit iffy about it. the vet i went to had a scanner but it wasnt working ... so i havent verified if the #s match up. this is one of the reasons why i havent registered my puppy b/c i need to write down the microchip # and the company where hes listed under. ive tried to call the breeder to get the info on the company he used to micro chip Chicle but he doesnt return my calls anymore. how would i go about finding out what company the microchip is under ... if i go to the vet will they know? |
