Hi when I got Buster he had a cold, and they gave him the antibiotics and the cough medecine. I was told to keep him out of cold drafts, and keep him not too cold and not too warm. I also ahd to keep him away from public places and away from other dogs, so that he wouldn't catch anything else. Anyhow he is doing great now. Good luck with your new baby
