I am moving into a new apartment and my new roomie has a small female Beagle that is 3-4 years old that she got at the shelter. I recently had a problem introducing Maximus to a neighbors dog and I'm worried about him becoming aggressive. We are moving in today and neither dog has been to the house (so there should be no territorry issues) and the Doogie(the Beagle) is small enough that I don't see a size issue here. Also Maximus has been around cats since the get go and he does fine with them, although I know dogs are a different story.
Does anyone have some advice on introducing a Yorkie that is 4 months old and used to be an only dog to a slightly excited Beagle?
Both dogs are great and I don't want issues!
