I used the crate training method. I crate Izzy at night and during the day he is in a small area of the house with his crate, food, pad and toys. He can also look out of the window, so he has a nice sized play area.

Other times I may crate him when I need to clean so he is out of the way of brooms, cleaning products etc. Or when I go in the basement to wash or take a shower. I feel better when he is in there and he likes it too...since he is a bum he will just take a nap until I let him out!
