Question frequent urination & housebreaking accidents

Hello,

All I love this site so much but unfortunately I can't be on all day or everyday to keep abreast of everything and share with all.

As a "New Yorkie Mommmy" from New York, I have been giving the Recalled Chicken Soup.....Puppy Food to my dog until this past weekend without knowing about it until my sister went shopping for dogs this weekend and saw the sign posted at the store where we always shop.

I really didn't notice anything wrong with my Nene' until I started thinking and noticing that he has been urinating frequently and has had housebreaking accidents for the past week. He seems normal to me but he hasn't been drining water excessively either. So is there something to be concerned about?

I mean he is 10 1/2 mths old already and he is not neutered yet or does he lift up his leg yet to potty. He is urinating inside the house as well as when I take him outside. But he doesn't hold it until he gets outside. Little puddles here and there and then the regular puddle size. Doing #2 is okay outside and inside.

His training has been quite frustrating and I could use some help like ASAP. I am considering traveling without him but I am concerned for his safety and how he is going to react to me when I come back like his routine and such. The frustration of having to retrain him again and again is what's preventing me from traveling/Vacationing at all.

Taking him with me for an extended period of time is out of the question since I have medical problems which prevent me from physically carrying around anything all the time besides my personal pouch.

Don't get me wrong I knew what I was getting in to and I don't regret getting my baby. So I would appreciate all the help I could get (feedback and info).

Maria and Nene'
