I totally agree. Max was marking and had to be retrained. Now he's being re-retrained. Once they learn to mark, the smell is in the house and you just can't get rid of it. Max may have to be retrained periodically for a while; hopefully not forever.
If I had it to do again, I would have neutered him as young as possible.
