I have a question for all of you who sew:

I've been selling my dresses and harnesses to some of the people in my community. I just got a request for a harness for a girl with a Jack Russell Terrier. She's 12 lbs. There's no problem with making one that size; my only fear is the D-ring for a dog this size. I'm afraid they'd be strong for pulling. I told her my concern, and she said she didn't think it would be a problem. These are closed with velcro. My 1 1/2" velcro is pretty strong, but I'm wondering if anyone else has made one for a dog this size.

What do you think?
