I remember your sad story all to well, it just broke my heart. I don't really have much more to offer in response to your legal questions, but I too would be very careful what I would say, you don't need another lawsuit for slander. But I do agree that if she didn't show up for the court date, and there was a supeona, that should be contempt of court...more trouble for her. And it sounds like money may be your only reward, she sounds kind of heartless and not very responsible, the only way to hurt her is in the pocketbook!!!
