Sallyvine...I have been in your shoes. We fought this disease (along wth a couple other health issues) with our first Yorkie for the last 3 or 4 years of his life. I remember way too much about that time and even though he's been gone for almost 3 years I can hardly talk about him without tearing up. We put him to rest when he let us know he had had enough...he was 2 months shy of turning 13 and when he felt good he was still like a puppy.
