Well normally you are supposed to put 2cups of water for every 1 cup of rice you make.

I make rice everyday so i dont measure it being hispanic we hardly ever measure . But that's usually how you do it and you are suposed to put salt in the water and a little bit of oil id say 2 teaspoons of rice depending on how much rice you are making? Then you wait till the water boils i wash my rice, then add when water boiling once the water dries after about 4-5min i stir the rice take it from the sides make a little mountain in the middle and put it super low and cover it wait 25-30 min take off lid add a little more oil and mix it then cover for another 10-15 min and walla rice is done and ready to eat
