My boys jump off and on the bed and the couch ALL the time and I couldnt stop them from doing this so I gave up. I have rugs in the bedroom! I don't know how they learned to jump on the bed, well how my little 5lb boy did but he does it! My bigger guy jumps off the back of the couch onto the tile or hardwood floors! I've tried numberous times to direct him to jump off the front of the couch at least wher its only like a foot jump, but he won't! I am nervous of his knees though! My little guy only jumps off the front of the couch! They both sleep in bed with me at night under the covers usually curled up right against me! and they sleep at the top of the couch where 'the valley' is (as someone else put it) above my head at night while watching tv... or in my lap!
They are TOTALLY the boss of me, but I don't care... HAHA! When they are content & happy so am I!
