Venus peeing on my carpet is the exact reason I put down ceramic in my living room and hall!
I don't think anytime soon will I get an area rug, for this same reason.
Most rugs in this house, she's peed on. That includes my bathroom rugs too! All bathroom rugs are still put up.
I have a runner rug, that she likes to eat on, so she doesn't pee on it, lol.
I'd put that rug up for a good long while. And I'd test your baby on rugs you can wash, like bathroom rugs first. When its 100% then put that nice big room rug down, but not before.
And if you put the rug down, to find its getting peed on, pull it up, immediately after you clean it. Seems I never could get pee smell out of my carpet to where she wouldn't go back in the same spot. Thats why carpet was ditched! |
