Yes, I allow my 2 on the couch and bed. Hoku can jump off and one the couch on her own, Kalani knows he's too little and will wait for me to lift him. Neither can get off the bed and they know it.
As for what the vet said - Poo, I allow my BF on the couch and bed and he still knows who's boss - LOL!
